Every situation is different
We work within complex human systems where each situation is unique. Our knowledge, insights, and expertise are the tools we use to navigate and manage these challenges.
Regular reflective practice sessions offer a focused space for employees to pause, process, and make sense of what’s happening around them, helping to create clarity about what’s working, what isn’t, and what could be done differently.
Facilitated reflective practice can help to:
Organisations often work in complex, demanding and ever-changing environments. Over time, this can leave people feeling frustrated, tired, and stretched, impacting how we do things and work with others.
Creating space to reflect internally isn’t always easy. Conversations can become task-focused, or people may not feel able to share openly.
A facilitator helps hold the space, guide shared learning, and create a safe environment for honest, meaningful conversations. This enables teams to move beyond surface-level discussion, build deeper understanding, and make more considered changes over time.

Working with your organisations to provide physical time and safe environments for reflection where people can explore their experiences and actions.
We learn and develop by reflecting on and learning from experience, from thinking deeply and honestly about our work, challenging situations, and group dynamics.
We’re helping to build a culture where staff have a safe space to reflect, feel supported, understood, and equipped to manage challenges.
“The professional counsellors from Platfform support us to deepen our understanding of key emotion management concepts, foster connections with colleagues, and ensure staff have the resources they need, alongside a safe and open forum for these discussions”
Keeli Parker, Head of People & Organisational Transformation
“Sometimes at work we may find ourselves in an unhelpful cycle just going round and round with things getting increasingly difficult, feeling burned out and not very satisfied in our work.
Reflective practice helps us break out of this cycle. What’s happening? Why is it happening? What have we got going for us that might be able to help us here and how do we go about doing that”?
Dr Sian Mulcahy, Head of Training and Delivery
Sometimes your teams may be feeling burned out, impacting the way they work with people.
Reflective practice is about creating thinking space, which is important for us to make sense of what we are experiencing, where our behaviours originate and why we might feel frustrated. This reflection helps us avoid making assumptions and projecting those onto others.
Ultimately, it means wanting to make changes and future improvements. But before that, it means having a professional space to think.
Having an external facilitator helps create a neutral, psychologically safe space. People are often more able to speak openly when sessions are guided by someone outside of the team or organisation.
An experienced facilitator can also gently guide conversations, manage group dynamics, and ensure that reflection goes beyond surface-level discussion.
We offer reflective practice sessions both in person and online. Our teams, based in South Wales are available to work in Swansea, Cardiff, Bristol, and beyond.
Sessions are structured but flexible. A facilitator will guide the group through reflective questions and discussions, helping people explore their experiences, thoughts, and responses.
This might include:
Exploring a recent situation or challenge
Reflecting on emotional responses and decision-making
Considering different perspectives
Identifying learning or next steps
This depends on the needs of your team and the nature of the work. Some organisations benefit from monthly sessions, while others may choose more regular or ad hoc support during particularly challenging periods.
We can work with you to find a rhythm that feels sustainable and useful.
