I’m Kiran. I’m a Clinical Psychologist.
My background includes community work, third sector organisations, local authorities, and independent practice.
My passion lies in supporting and connecting with people, understanding their culture, ethnicity, religion, language, and life experiences, consistently pursuing ways for Psychologists and services to provide optimal support.
Understanding people’s experiences, leading with compassion and having the right support when needed is so important, which is particularly relevant within organisations.
I have a huge interest in attachment theory, narrative approaches, and compassion-focused therapies which I’ve found to be particularly beneficial to people who have experienced complex trauma.
Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym, hiking and salsa dancing. I love travelling to new places, learning languages and immersing myself in different cultures. Punjabi is my second language and I’m lucky to be able to talk to older members of my family as well as members of my community.
