My name is Turid, and I’m a Humanistic Existential counsellor and Mindfulness Practitioner.

Humanistic Existential counselling focuses on your personal growth and the choices and meaning in your life, rather than diagnosing a problem. I offer a warm, relational, and person-centred approach, meaning the relationship between us, and your own pace and priorities, are at the heart of the work, creating a supportive space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace.

I believe in caring for the whole person, recognising the connection between mind and body. My work brings together Western psychology with Buddhist psychology and mindfulness meditation practices, offering a compassionate and holistic approach to wellbeing.

I work with individuals experiencing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, identity exploration, ADHD in women, grief and loss, and many other life transitions and emotional struggles.

Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting. My role is to meet you where you are, without judgement, and to support you throughout the process. I’ll create a space where you feel heard, seen, and able to explore whatever is important to you.
