stress management training for employees

One in five needed to take time off work due to stress in 2023. We know that behind every statistic is a human and that’s why this session goes beyond facts and figures.

Our 2‑hour managing stress training offers evidence‑based insights while creating space for reflection and conversation. It’s designed for employers, managers and employees who want to build healthier, more compassionate workplaces. Together, we explore what stress really is, how it shows up in our bodies and minds, and what we can do—individually and collectively—to respond in ways that protect our wellbeing.

This training helps people step back to explore organisation-specific issues, re‑think stress and leave with tools that look after ourselves as well as others.

What does stress management training cover?

During the session, we’ll look at:

  • What is stress? – understanding what stress is, where it comes from and why it matters.

  • Stress and the body – exploring the nervous system and the physical impact of stress.

  • Different responses to stress – why people cope differently and what that means for teams.

  • Stress and the mind – how stress affects thinking, decision‑making and day‑to‑day functioning.

  • What does stress mean for you? – using our ‘stress bucket’ exercise to identify what fills and empties your own bucket.

  • Managing stress – how connection supports regulation, and practical ways to look after ourselves and each other.

  • Time to reflect – space for open discussion, questions and shared learning.

Builds understanding

Many people experience stress but don’t fully understand what’s happening in their body or mind. This training explains stress in a clear, accessible way so participants can spot early signs and take action before things escalate.

What you need to thrive

Through reflective exercises we'll explore what contributes to stress and what we need personally in order to maintain our mental health and enable us to thrive both at work.

Good work environments

Lasting change

Stress is easier to manage when we don’t feel alone. By encouraging open conversations in the workplace, the training helps build cultures where people feel supported and able to ask for help.
