Workplace mental health training

We’ve got 30 years of experience working with leaders and organisations, to help them connect with their own people and build compassionate environments, creating a place where everyone can thrive.

Our team can deliver a range of workplace mental health training options, from 2-hour workshops and 2-day CPD-accredited courses to a bespoke set of workplace training modules tailored to your organisation.

If you are unsure about your specific requirements and where to begin, that’s ok, we can work that out together.

Below are sample modules that could be included in a Platfform Wellbeing Programme. We can also cover topics not listed here. Our training has covered subjects such as suicide, bereavement, burnout, relational working, and more.

What makes us different?

Mental health and work are deeply connected —grounding us, shaping our identity, and connecting us to a sense of purpose which has shaped much of our thinking and approach.

“The workplace deeply impacts how individuals see themselves, how they manage stress, and how they function day to day. Recognising this intersection between environment and mental health has been pivotal in how we think about supporting teams”

Pete Johnson, Commercial Director.

Effective Workplace mental health Training

Our approach

This comes from a place of empathy and understanding. It is a non-medicalised and focuses on the understanding that everything that happens to us impacts our wellbeing. Our experiences impact our mental health differently – no two people are the same, so there’s no one-size-fits-all answer.

How we work

We focus on relationships, how to humanise processes, and how to create a compassionate workplace culture. This helps ensure healthier and more nurturing environments, positive working relationships, and staff who feel valued and listened to.

Why are we different?

Our approach goes beyond people’s past experiences. We equip staff with the knowledge they need to nurture their own wellbeing, support others, and know when to defer to specialist services.

Fabulous course. I’ve really enjoyed learning about looking at behaviours in a deeper way and learning about the secure base model. I will use this knowledge learnt in my work, my family life and be more aware to make time for myself. I will also pass on my knowledge gained today to my colleagues. Thank you ever so much.

The course was effective in giving some new perspectives on mental health and new ways of thinking about how best to support colleagues. I gained some really useful ideas for implementing a team approach, through reflection with other attendees and input from the trainer.

I thought that learning about the secure base model but in the context of organisational and team development and leadership was a unique approach and very welcomed. It sets a brilliant foundation for us in how we move forward in a compassionate way, being kind to one another.

The trainer was extremely knowledgeable about the field and when explaining, it was in a simplistic yet really informative way. I have come away from the training with so much detail and tips to help me in my personal life as well as my role.
